Beyond the Basics Head and Neck 2011

June 11th in Cortez, Colorado

6 hour ASMBT and NCBTMB approved class
For this class you will need:
 
  1. Your massage table.
  2. Long lasting glide gel, lotion or oil, 
  3. A bath towel and a hand towel,  
  4. A set of sheets
  5. Pillow or bolster for leg support and/or blanket for your comfort if you want.

The treatments are particularly good for clients with the following problems
  1. Tension headaches
  2. Sinus headaches
  3. Congestion of the sinus’s
  4. Migraines
  5. Face pain from TN, TMJ, stress.
  6. Neck pain from stress and tension
  7. Overuse syndromes which cause muscle imbalance
  8. Disc compression in cervical spine

Demonstration of seated treatments for sinus pain and 

migraine headaches.  

You will not need your table for the first half of the class 

Break

Practical session turn-around for all students  

 

Lunch - from 12 - 1

You will need your table for the second half of the class

Demo – Supine techniques for:

Tension headaches, neuralgia, neck pain, disc compression

Break   

Practical session for all above treatments. 

Summary and wrap up.

 Handouts with all treatments used in class will be given to each student.
